90.00

Beetroot, Bull’s Blood is a versatile and delicious heirloom variety that can produce sweet leaves and delectable baby roots.

The purple-foliaged plant was selected by Dutch seedsman and Seed Savers Exchange member Kees Sahin in 1986 from the French variety Crapaudine for the darkest-coloured leaves.

Baby leaves are ready to pick in just 35 days from sowing, making them perfect for microgreens.

The sweet, earthy roots are equally delectable and ready to harvest in about 55 days. They are blood red to deep purple, adding a touch of beauty to any dish.

With its beautiful and unique purple foliage and ability to produce delicious leaves and roots, Beetroot, Bull’s Blood is a must-have for any gardening enthusiast or foodie.
