Mustard Cake Organic Fertilizer

The mustard cake is a 100% organic product obtained after extracting the mustard oil from seeds. The best way to use mustard cake fertilizer is to use it in liquid form. It is widely used as a fertilizer for flowering, vegetables, and fruit plants. It works well when used with other basic fertilizers like vermicompost. It is a rich source of NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium). It also provides micronutrients to plants. It is a good source of Sulphur, Magnesium, Manganese, and Zinc. It makes plants very healthy and also improves soil texture. It prevents buds from falling off prematurely.

Preparation of Mustard Cake fertilizer:

1. Take 50-gram mustard cake and add it to 1 ltr of water.
2. Keep it for 3 days in summer / 5  days in winter.
3. Fermentation will start and you will obtain fermented concentrated fertilizer.
4. Add this concentrated liquid in 5 ltr of water. Now it is ready for application.

Fertilizer application:

Apply 250 ml of the diluted mustard cake fertilizer liquid to each medium-size plants. The topsoil of the plant should be dried before the application of this fertilizer. So stop watering the plants before the application of this fertilizer. The dried soil then should be loosened with the help of a trowel.
