Growing Information for Leek:
- Leeks can be sown directly into the ground in the spring or started indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost.
- Pick a sunny spot with rich, well-drained soil for your leeks. Raised garden beds and containers are also an option if you don’t have sufficient garden space.
- Leeks are shallow-rooted, so use caution when cultivating other plants near them. Keep the area weed-free to avoid competition.
- For gardeners with limited space, you can plant shallow-rooted, fast-growing salad greens in between your leeks while waiting for them to establish.
- Amend your soil with organic matter or rich compost for healthy growth.

They are small but growing well. I would have liked some instructions since I am new to this kind of onion.

Taste good! I’ve been looking for these and am so glad I finally found them. I was able to harvest another crop using the same ones. I just cut off the green leaves and let it grow again. So amazing and the flavor is still there. Since I am not sure of how to get seeds from these for next season, I am sure going to order these again

They’re growing in my greenhouse and looking good so far. Germination on these are about 70%
Poonam Chauhan –
Direct seeded in potting soil but had just 50% germination. Whatever germinated is growing well.

I was a little disappointed that it took 7 days for my leek seeds to arrive, but the quality of the seeds was so good that I can’t complain. The plants are now in full bloom and look gorgeous. Plus, the free Emily basil seeds were a nice bonus!
