Detailed Product Description:
This heirloom variety stands out with its unique, indigo-coloured kernels and sweet, robust flavour. Not only does this popcorn taste great, but it’s also packed with health benefits. It’s rich in protein, low in starch, and full of antioxidants.
The plants generally grow to a height of 6-7 feet and produce ears that are 2 to 4 inches long. The ears are usually a uniform indigo or a colonial blue colour, which is quite different from the deep purple of some other varieties.
The seeds should be sown 1-2 weeks before the last spring frost at a depth of 1-2 inches and with a spacing of 12 inches. Mini Blue popcorn is not frost hardy. Planting in blocks is recommended as it improves pollination

They turned out great. I planted 12 seeds, had 100% germination and got over 28 adorable little ears that I used for decor.
Altaf Mallick –
It’s unbelievably gorgeous. Grew well in semi shade and I admit, I did sow them very close to each other which they didn’t seem to mind.

The kernels came out much darker, almost purple in the sunlight.

Planted five of these in containers with extra composted manure, and they thrived! Only dealt with minor insect damage. The kernels were tiny but popped instantly in hot oil, making the most delicious popcorn. Definitely planting again next year.

Tried my hand at growing mini blue corn for the first time last year, and I’m absolutely in love! It’s just so pretty ?. Had a 100% germination rate, and it was a breeze to grow.
Pooja Devraye –
Required minimal effort and was practically maintenance-free. Applied fertilizer a couple of times. Was pleasantly surprised to find each stalk yielding four ears. Thank you Mountain Top Seeds for providing these great seeds. Looking forward to planting more next year.

My first attempt at growing corn, and I planted it densely outdoors. Blue cobs were so pretty as they dried out.
