Native to Peru and Brazil, they are also known as Wild South American or grape/cluster tomatoes.

Very productive, sprawling plants with a wild, rambling habit, yielding lots of fruits that are great in salads and preserves.

Best grown with a structure available for trellising, such as lath work.

Growing Information:

  • Sow tomato seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or directly in well-drained soil after the last frost.
  • Full sun and well-drained soil.
  • Transplant outdoors once the soil has warmed up and all danger of frost has passed.
  • Space plants 2-3 feet apart, and provide support
  • Water deeply and regularly, and fertilize every 4-6 weeks.
  • Harvest when the fruit is fully ripe and enjoy!
