Star of David Okra

Star of David Okra is an Israeli heirloom variety named for its unique, star-shaped cross-section that resembles the Star of David when the pods are sliced.

• Plant Characteristics: It grows vigorously on tall, unbranched stalks reaching 7-10 feet, featuring purple-tinged leaves and beautiful hibiscus-like flowers.
• Pod Features: The pods are thick (2-2.5 inches in diameter), bright green with deep ridges, and typically 5 inches long, though they’re best harvested at 2-4 inches for tenderness.
• Growing Traits: This  variety matures in 60-75 days, thrives in warm climates, and is resistant to root-knot nematodes, making it a robust garden choice.
