Cherokee White Eagle Corn

Cherokee White Eagle is a dent corn from the Cherokee people. It is the tribe’s most sacred corn. The first seed in the Cherokee Nation Seed Bank. It has been grown for generations.

Ears are 6 to 10 inches long. Kernels are white and blue on a red cob. Sometimes an entire ear is blue. Some kernels show eagle-like markings. That is where the name comes from.

Plants grow 8 to 10 feet tall. Some reach 12 feet. Most stalks produce 2 ears.
