Christmas Limas are an heirloom variety of Lima beans, dating back to the 1840s; they have been a favorite for many generations.
Christmas Lima is a large-seeded bean with 4″ to 6″ pods housing quarter-sized, white seeds with maroon spots.
The vines are vigorous, reaching up to ten feet, producing heavy yields, and performing well even in extreme heat.
Each packet contains 4 robust seeds.

Planting Instructions:
Beans prefer well-drained, rich soil in a sunny location. Ensure they are adequately watered during the summer heat.
Sow seeds 1½ inches deep, spacing them every two to three inches. As they utilize vertical space efficiently, provide a trellis using string or twine, as wire can heat up and burn the tender vines.
Harvest when the pods are plump, well-filled, and firm, yet still fresh and bright green in appearance. Christmas Limas can be used green shelled or dried and retain their markings after being cooked.
