Tarahumara Sunflower

90.00

The Rarámuri Sunflower, also known as the Tarahumara White, is an ancient heirloom variety cultivated by the Rarámuri people of northern Mexico. These towering giants can reach heights of 6 to 11 feet, topped with enormous golden-yellow flower heads up to 2 feet wide.

Originally adapted from Mennonite seed stock and grown in the high deserts of Chihuahua for generations, this sunflower thrives in tough conditions—poor soil, dry heat, and low water are no problem.

Unique thing about the Tarahumara sunflower is its yellow petals with a rare lime-green center.

30 seeds per packet.
