Yellow Pear is one of the oldest heirloom tomatoes still grown today. It was documented in Europe in the late 1700s.

Fruit is small and pear-shaped. 3/4 to 1 inch long. Bright lemon-yellow. Thin, tender skin. The vines are indeterminate.

Flavor is sweet and low acid. Mildly fruity. Juicy and crisp. Bburst of pure sweetness with almost none of the sharp acid.

One plant can give hundreds or even thousands of fruits. It keeps producing when other varieties stop in the heat.
