Yellow Shower Tree

It puts on an incredible flower show in summer, with long, cascading clusters of bright yellow flowers hanging off the branches like golden rain.

Perfect medium sized shade tree that grows pretty fast and tops out around the size of a two story house, with wide, spreading branches that create nice dappled light underneath.

After the blooms drop, long, dark, woody seed pods form. They look like skinny bean pods and rattle in the wind all winter, which is pretty cool.
